General speaking, almost all MagicBands make the normal green lights with sounds at touch points, as seen in the “Normal Effects” section. Limited Edition bands, which usually have a set number produced and coming in a special box, can make special effects randomly as certain touch points throughout Disney.

There’s also a clip with the 50th Anniversary logo. If you’re a Disney World Annual Passholder or a Disney World Hotel guest, you can pre-order this MagicBand online for $20, down from a regular price of $34.99 if you buy it later (or in stores).
How much will the MagicBand plus cost?
How Much Does the MagicBand+ Cost? Disney has not yet announced a price for the new MagicBand+, but I can say with certainty it will cost more than traditional MagicBands. And with themed MagicBands retailing for as much as $29.99, I can only imagine that the price of a MagicBand+ may climb up to $40 or $50.

Named Disney MobileMagic, the new service basically turns your smartphone into a MagicBand, and all you’ll have to do is register for it via the company’s My Disney Experience app.
What MagicBands are currently available?
The current colors available for resort guest complimentary bands includes: purple, pink, green, red, orange, blue, gray, and yellow. If you end up not pre-ordering your MagicBands and getting them at your resort, then basic gray is your only option for a free band.
