As of now, Guests no longer need to join a virtual queue to access Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Instead, Guests may either wait in a traditional standby queue or purchase individual Lightning Lane entry to experience the attraction.

The Join Virtual Queue button in the Virtual Queue box on the app home screen is where you want to be to access all of the virtual queues, should they return. When you tap that button, you’ll see Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance appear under Disneyland Park.

YES. If you are a Star Wars fanatic and honestly even if you are not you are going to be amazed and in awe of this new attraction. I had the opportunity to ride Star Wars Rise of the Resistance and the only way to describe it is mind blowing. My family wanted too immediately do it again!

The most anticipated Disney attraction of the decade – Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – debuted at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios on December 5, 2019 and in Disneyland on January 17, 2020.
In 2019, a Star Wars-inspired land called Galaxy’s Edge opened at Disneyland Resort. Replacing an area known as Big Thunder Ranch, it was a highly anticipated new attraction.
Any adult or child with a disability that could endanger them, prevent them from fully enjoying the parks or waiting in a traditional line qualifies for DAS. This includes guests with both visible injuries or disabilities and those with less visible, non-apparent disabilities that could impact their park experience.
The Two Rides of Galaxy’s Edge
As anticipated, there are two attractions in this area: Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge takes up just about the same amount of space at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. In fact, if you were standing in the middle of Black Spire Outpost, the two locations would look largely identical; however, the further out you go, the more differences you will see.
