You can absolutely purchase Florida Resident theme park tickets for your grandchildren who are under the age of 18. All you would have to do is activate their tickets using your Proof of Florida Residency at any Ticket window at the theme parks or the Disney Springs Guest Services location.

Can Undercover Tourist tickets be upgraded?
You can upgrade any Undercover Tourist ticket to an Annual Pass at Guest Relations as long as there are still usable days on the ticket.
Can you buy Disney tickets without a date?
Yes, for an additional fee you can purchase tickets without a specific start date. If you don’t want to be pinned down to an exact start date, you can add on the Flexible Date Option. With this option, you don’t have to choose dates.
Do Disney residents check ID for Florida?
Children under the age of 18 do not have to show ID. In other words, Disney will need to ensure that you are a Florida resident before you can purchase and/or use a Florida Resident ticket/pass before you can use one.
Does Disney offer refunds?
Tickets and vacation packages to Walt Disney World are not refundable. You cannot cancel and get a refund on your tickets or vacation package. Your tickets to the theme parks will eventually expire, whether they are basic one-day park tickets, multi-day tickets, or park hopper tickets. That’s the bad news.
