Unlike other Value resorts, Art of Animation offers 864 standard hotel rooms and 1,120 “family suites” with the latter including two rooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchenette!
Keeping this in view, are all the rooms at Art of Animation suites?
Art of Animation has standard hotel rooms with a Little Mermaid theme, as well as family suites. In fact, most rooms here are suites.
Beside this, do you have to pay for parking at Art of Animation?
Parking is available at Art of Animation, but it’s not free for resort guests. There is a standard $15 overnight self-parking fee (including tax) that is applied to guests’ hotel folio upon check-out. We have a complete Walt Disney World parking guide you can check out as well.
Does Art of Animation have elevators?
Yes, all the buildings at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort are equipped with elevators. The buildings housing the Family Suites (Finding Nemo, Cars, and The Lion King sections) feature interior hallways and elevators.
You will be happy to know that the kitchenettes at all Disney’s Art of Animation Resort family suites come equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, and mini refrigerator.
What Resorts and Theme Parks Are on the Skyliner? The Skyliner connects two theme parks—Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios to four resorts: Caribbean Beach, Pop Century, Art of Animation, and Riviera Resort. Pop Century and Art of Animation share a single station between the two hotels.
It’s our favorite of all of the Value Resorts, that’s for sure! While there isn’t a hot tub, spa or sauna at this resort, it does feature three pools!
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is between six and seven miles from the Magic Kingdom. In my experience, the bus ride between these two locations takes approximately twenty minutes.
Standard Rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort will sleep up to four guests.
The Disney Skyliner station that you’ll be using is located on Generation Gap Bridge, which connects Disney’s Art of Animation Resort with Disney’s Pop Century Resort. The station is not more than a 5 or 10-minute walk from any of the buildings, but I would say that the Finding Nemo area has the closest access.
