you can see a teaser for Iron Man 3 here on Disney Mentor.

Marvel’s “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

Lincoln Movie Screening Review {#LincolnMovie}

When I was in elementary school, I soaked up the chance to understand the history of our country and its presidents. When given the opportunity for choice, I would research Abraham Lincoln.

I would write about him, his family, and was saddened that his life was cut so short.

Something about Abe Lincoln always connected with me and intrigued me.

When I saw that  Lincoln would finally come to life via one of my favorites, Steven Spielberg,

well, to say I was intrigued was an understatement.

Last night I took my dad to screen Lincoln before its release.

Thirty years later…

I feel like I finally met the man and president I yearned to learn about as a child.

As the film started, the cinematography was impeccably executed, drawing out every last moment until viewers were finally able to see…and meet…

I am in awe of the brilliance of Daniel Day-Lewis in his portrayal of Abraham Lincoln, as he brought the drama and emotion of trying to end the Civil War, while concurrently fighting to pass the 13th Amendment to the Constitution.  His talent allows viewers the chance to feel a connection to Lincoln in a quietly powerful way…just like I imagine the real Abraham Lincoln to have been.

The dramatic tone of Lincoln matches the man of this film and allows him to remain center stage; the drama of the film matches his quiet confidence.  The integrity of the man and the history of our country remained intact throughout Lincoln.

Fans may very well be left speechless after Lincoln as they process the depths to which Spielberg and Daniel Day-Lewis went in protraying the multiple facets of this larger than life man.  The opportunity to know Lincoln is a privilege that viewers will be grateful for, none of which would be possible without Daniel Day-Lewis transforming himself completely into Abe.

DreamWorks Pictures and Twentieth Century Fox present, in association with Participant Media, present “Lincoln,” a film directed by Steven Spielberg from a screenplay written by Tony Kushner.  This is in part based on the book “Team of Rivals: The Political Genus of Lincoln” by Doris Kearns Goodwin.

Fans can “Like” Lincoln on Facebook  and follow Lincoln on Twitter Lincoln opens in select theaters on November 9th and expands on November 16th.
