In seemingly insignificant but actually very big news, Walt Disney World has confirmed that the resort hotel easter egg displays will return for 2021! These eggs-travagantly detailed pieces of sweet edible art are created by Disney’s talented pastry chefs and featured at various resort hotels.
Also know, are masks required at Disney World?
The theme park resort announced Tuesday that face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated visitors in all indoor and outdoor locations. The Walt Disney Company says it’s lifting the majority of its indoor mask requirements for vaccinated guests at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland theme parks.
Just so, does Disney have an Easter egg hunt?
Guests can bring their completed map to Disney Traders for a prize! Participating in the Disney World Easter egg hunt is a great way to celebrate Easter at Disney World in 2022!
Does Disney World have a church?
The Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary Queen of the Universe offers a Saturday vigil Mass as well as four Sunday Masses. You can easily get a taxi or an Uber from your resort over to the Shrine. I also recommend stopping by the Lobby Concierge at your resort.
April Disney World crowds are steadily average throughout the month—with some exceptions. Between Spring Break crowds carrying over from March and Easter being one of the most popular holidays to spend at WDW, April can be very crowded or very manageable depending on the time of the month when you’re visiting.
The two weeks surrounding Easter Sunday are the 2nd busiest time of the entire year, following only Xmas week. Parks periodically close to entry due to reaching capacity levels, especially Magic Kingdom. If you are truly flexible with your dates, I’d wait until late April or early May instead.
Easter Bunny Meet and Greet
Easter Bunny, you can find them on Main Street in Magic Kingdom Park. This pair dresses up in the Sunday best and is ready for pictures. A Disney PhotoPass photographer is available, but you can also request a photo be taken with your phone as well.
Disney world does not share its actual capacity nor the number of attendees they get daily. But as stated above, the estimated number of average daily attendees was 57,000 before the pandemic started. So, at present, it might be welcoming a maximum of 35,000 guests daily running with a 35% capacity.
Walt Disney World’s parks are typically least crowded:
- January 2nd until just prior to Presidents’ Day week (third Monday in February),
- The week after Labor Day until just prior to Thanksgiving week.
- The week following Thanksgiving weekend until the week prior to Christmas.
Wear a short-sleeved top and shorts during the day and bring a lightweight jacket or sweater that can be kept in a backpack or worn around your waist during the day.
