Tickets range from $169 to $229 plus tax for select November-December nights and $249, plus tax on December 19th & 21st. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can take advantage of a $10 discount on select event dates in November.
Accordingly, are Disney Christmas party tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable and may not be resold. The number of tickets available is limited and tickets are valid only for the specific event date and hours. Entertainment may be cancelled due to inclement weather or otherwise.
Similarly, do you need a park ticket for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party?
It requires a special ticket, not included with regular park admission. Capacity is limited, so guests can expect shorter lines on select rides. There will still be snow falling on Main Street, U.S.A., a holiday-themed parade and Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime fireworks.
Do you need a separate ticket for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party?
It does not include admission to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which is to be purchased separately. (This means you’re paying twice–once for the party, once for the dessert party.) The dessert party also does not include parade viewing.
The holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort officially began Nov. 12, 2021, as it coincides with Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration, and usually ends after the first week in January. For extra early fun, the new “Disney Very Merriest After Hours” event debuted Nov. 8!
Tickets are limited for each date and can sell out, so you’ll want to plan ahead and buy them in advance. In 2020, tickets for After Hours events at Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom could be purchased in advance for $129 per adult or child, plus tax, or on the day of the event for $139 per adult or child, plus tax.
Very Merriest After Hours atmosphere is more magical than Boo Bash, but is still lacking compared to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. For most families this after hours event is probably not worth the high price tag. Halfway through the event most small children had left early or were very unhappy.
This long time traditional event returns to Christmas at Walt Disney World for the 2021 season. It starts on November 26th and runs through December 30th 2021. The story of Christmas in words and music is told by a celebrity narrator accompanied by a mass choir and a 50 strong orchestra.
If you’re only going for the shorter lines at rides, it’s probably not worth it. But if you love getting into the Christmas spirit and want to see all of the exclusive characters, shows and parades that the party has to offer, we think it’s toadally worth it.
Disney Very Merriest After Hours will take place from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on select nights, from November 8 through December 21, 2021. Tickets will go on sale next month. A limited number of tickets will be sold for the event which will be offered after regular park operating hours.
