Disney Fan Feature Friday – Julie from a Little Bite of Life

Disney Fan Feature Friday

Welcome back to Disney Fan Feature Friday!  This feature is meant to share everyone’s love of Disney through their own eyes. Last week on Disney Fan Feature Friday we had Jamie from Polka Dots on Parade and this week we have Julie from A Little Bite of Life! She’s had some great Disney birthday experiences with her son!

Name: Julie Cohn

Website: A Little Bite of Life

What do you love about Disney?  To me, Disney symbolizes family.  I have so many wonderful memories of going to Disneyland with my son, since he was four years old, and I cannot wait to share more memories.  I actually think about the “someday” when I will have grandchildren, and can take them to Disney too!

Which Disney park is your favorite and why?   Disneyland.  It is the first park I went to with my son when he turned four, and it is the park he has grown up going to.  We’ve taken his best friend, Megan, every year for her birthday (the past six years); my son had a big sleepover party at Disneyland when he was 10, and this year I am taking seven of his Arizona friends to Disneyland!  I also love the fact that it was the original park that Walt Disney built.  There is so much nostalgia here, and I am a retro girl, so really appreciate that the park still keeps the authenticity of what Walt Disney created.

A Little Bite of Life - Disney Fan FeatureWhich Disney ride would we see your family ride over and over (without lines of course)?  Wow.  I have to pick one?   My favorite is Pirates of the Caribbean, but my sons favorite is Indiana Jones, so we grab fast passes and take turns.

Which Disney movie do your kids enjoy the most…and which one do YOU love the most!   My son loves Lilo and Stitch-it has been his favorite Disney movie since he was four (and the reason we went to Disneyland the first time.  My favorite movie is RatatouilleWe really love that Disney has a partnership with Marvel and Star Wars!

If you could be any Disney character, who would you be and why?   Mary Poppins.  I’d love to be the nanny who arrives by umbrella, sings and dances all day, and has a magic bag.

What is your favorite Disney memory?  My son’s tenth birthday at Disneyland.  My son had six friends stay in two rooms at the Disneyland Hotel, and we went the parks for two days, and had a Lilo and Stitch breakfast.  We have so many wonderful memories from that trip.

Disney Fan Feature Friday: Jaime from Polka Dots on Parade

Disney Fan Feature Friday

Name: Jaime Jenkins
What do you love about Disney?
I love how every little detail tells me I’m in a special place! The hidden Mickeys all over, the freshly planted flowers everywhere, and every spot in the park has a story to tell.
Which Disney park is your favorite and why?
I love Disneyland because it’s so classic and developed. Our favorite rides are tucked in all over the park and we never run out of things to do!
Which Disney ride would we see your family ride over and over (without lines of course)?
We definitely love Pirates of the Caribbean, but if there were no lines and no height requirements, the  Lightning McQueen Racers are so much fun!!
Which Disney movie do your kids enjoy the most…and which one do YOU love the most!
My kids go through phases of movies. The Jungle Book and Finding Nemo were very popular with my son. They love to watch Brave together since it appeals to both boys and girls and is not your traditional princess movie! I think we all love Tangled.
If you could be any Disney character, who would you be and why?
I would be Tinkerbell because I’ve always wanted to fly over the castle!
What is your favorite Disney memory?
Hard to choose! I love remembering my kids with the big twirly rainbow lollipops. I love how excited they were when they got their first set of Mickey ears. I love when they wear their tallest shoes and are finally able to go on the big ride! I love the giggles when Daddy spins us fast on the Teacups! I love watching the fireworks with sleepy children. And I love when the Disney employees call my daughter Princess. :)
